This course is the first step in pursuing a licence or certification in radon measurement, and provides the information needed to pass National Radon Proficiency Program (NRPP) Measurement Certification exam.
This course will teach you the basics of radon gas and the EPA guidelines for testing for radon in the home. Upon completion of the course, you'll have a deeper understanding of radioactivity and radioactive decay, the sources of radon, how radon affects your health. You'll gain an understanding of how different radon measurement devices work, how and where to place them to maximize effectiveness, QA/QC, radon in water and an overview of radon mitigation.
The study guide, workbook, quizzes and more will fully prepare you to pass the National Radon Proficiency Program (NRPP) Measurement Certification exam.
